Man, who was shot dead at his home in West Lothian, West Midlands, on Saturday, was shot in the back of the head after his car had stopped at a traffic light, the West Midlands Police said in a statement.
Police said the incident occurred in the area of St George’s Avenue, Woodside Road, Wood Green.
The man’s body was taken to the Royal Surrey County Hospital where he later died.
The incident is being treated as a road traffic collision and a vehicle collision, police said.
Police said they had been called to the scene of the incident on Saturday afternoon at around 12:30pm.
“The man, a man aged 30, was killed at the scene by a gunshot to the back,” the statement read.
“His body was recovered at the junction of Woodside Avenue and St George Street in Wood Green shortly after the incident.”
