Safe search engine company SafeSearch has revealed it is the third most used search engine in Australia, with more than four million users.
The company, which was founded in 2006, said it was founded on a passion for transparency and transparency in business.
“We believe in open, fair and transparent markets, a world where innovation and technology can drive better lives for everyone,” SafeSearch CEO David McRae said.
The internet search giant said the data it collected on search queries and online ad revenue was used to create a comprehensive online shopping database.
The information was then used to inform advertising, which in turn was used by the company to create customized online advertisements.
“It is clear to us that people are seeking out these products and services on SafeSearch, because of its comprehensive data set, which includes user-generated content and social sharing, among other things,” Mr McRee said.
“People are looking for products and companies with transparent data and transparent policies.”
He said SafeSearch had become one of the top search engines in Australia.
SafeSearch is based in Melbourne.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) figures showed SafeSearch’s search engine revenue in 2017 was $12.6 million.
Safe Search’s CEO David McIntyre said the company was excited about its first anniversary in 2017 and hoped to grow in 2018.
“I’m really happy about that, it’s going to be really exciting for everyone to see where it’s at in terms of growth,” he said.
Mr McIntyre added the company would look to expand further and develop products and products and websites for consumers and businesses.
